Ever heard of the Mari Lwyd? She is Wales' Christmas Zombie Horse and one of my favorite holiday monsters.

With a horse's skull on a pole, cloaked in ribbons and a sheet, Mari Lwyd and her crew go door-to-door, engaging in witty singing battles to be let in for drinks and snacks. Once inside, they cleanse homes of bad energy and create playful chaos. Rooted in ancient folklore and revived in recent decades, this eerie yet joyful tradition blends the spooky with the festive. 🪄✨
