Thankful for friends that join the crazy,
Yesterday in Michigan it was a cold 38 degree day but we were near Lake Erie. So we drove the 10 minutes to the lake walked on the beach and took pictures. It was full of laughter and tears( cause of the wind). We had an amazing time.
Spending time with friends outdoors, even in colder weather like 38 degrees, can be surprisingly refreshing and elevating. When visiting places like Lake Erie during chilly days, dressing warmly is essential, but the crisp air and serene environment often make up for the cold. On such outings, the windy conditions can be challenging but also add a playful element to the experience — for example, laughter mixed with tears caused by the strong breeze. Beaches near the Great Lakes, such as Lake Erie, have their own unique charm year-round, offering scenic views and opportunities for photography and reflection. From personal experience, even the briefest strolls on a lakeside beach can strengthen friendships and create lasting memories. Bringing along a camera or smartphone to capture candid moments helps to document the day’s spontaneous joy. Moreover, short drives to these beautiful spots provide a perfect escape from daily routines without requiring extensive planning. Engaging in such activities with friends who embrace the 'crazy' or spontaneous moments makes outings more enjoyable and shows how shared experiences, regardless of weather, deepen connections. Whether it’s laughing through the chilly wind, capturing beautiful landscape photos, or simply appreciating nature’s calming presence, these small adventures can significantly boost well-being and happiness.
