halfway to the end their always fighting and feel like more toxic relationships I would say

This July, I dove into a mix of thrilling and emotionally complex books that kept me hooked with their unexpected twists and dark secrets. Frieda McFadden's The Teacher stood out with its unforgettable lesson and a plot twist that genuinely surprised me, earning a solid five-star rating. The story’s gripping nature and unexpected events made it a standout. Sarah Pinborough’s We Live Here Now was a slower build for me, but as the story approached its climax, the dark secrets and twists deepened, making it increasingly compelling despite being less immediately captivating. It reminded me how some books need time to unfold to fully grasp their impact. J Rose’s Twisted Heathens, the first in the Blackwood Institute series, blended dark, steamy romance with characters who challenge and sometimes frustrate you. Trigger warnings are important here, as the narrative explores intense themes and twisted relationships. The dynamic character development and plot twists made it an engaging read that I can’t wait to continue. Ana Huang’s Twisted Love brought a contrasting "grumpy-sunshine" vibe, though I found the male protagonist’s attitude harder to connect with. The novel mixes dark secrets with growing friendship and love, but certain toxic relationship elements made it a bit of a challenging read. Still, the female character’s journey was relatable and nuanced. Overall, these books offered a variety of pacing and emotional tone, from slow-burning suspense to steamy drama. Each title provides something unique for fans of twisted plotlines and complex relationships. If you enjoy stories full of secrets, surprises, and emotional ups and downs, these picks from my July reading list are worth checking out.
