This book. THIS SERIES. was casually suggested to me with absolutely zero details. Just a breezy “oh it’s good, you should read it.” No warnings. No context. No emotional safety gear. So naturally, I said okay bestie and dove in headfirst.
First of all let’s talk about the fact that it is spicy. Like chapter one immediately leans over and whispers “hey… this is that kind of book.” Surprise. I was not prepared. But also not mad about it.
