⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Three out of Five Stars)

I read Little Stranger by Leigh Rivers in two days and yes it absolutely made me question my sanity. Did I feel uncomfortable the entire time Absolutely. Did I still keep turning the pages Also yes.

This book is dark twisted and deeply unsettling. Leigh Rivers does not hold your hand through this story and instead drops you straight into the chaos. The psychological tension is intense and the atmosphere is heavy which kept me hooked even when I was unsure how I felt about what I was reading.

I strongly suggest reading the content warnings before diving in. And when I say strongly I mean it. This is not a book you want to go into blindly and it is definitely not for everyone. Being prepared makes a huge difference in how this story lands.

While the story was addictive and memorable it did leave me conflicted which is why it lands at three stars for me. Disturbing thought provoking and lingering long after the last page but not quite a full hit for my personal taste.

Perfect for readers who enjoy dark morally questionable reads and are comfortable sitting in the discomfort 🖤
