✨ Her Last Breath by Taylor Adams
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)
This book had me gripping my own lungs like they were about to file for divorce. The dual timeline? Criminally effective. One second you’re trapped in a suffocating cave, the next you’re in a hospital room listening to Tess unravel the story like a thread that absolutely should not be pulled but you have to anyway.
The way it flips between survival and storytelling makes you feel like you’re right there, inhaling dust, panic, and bad decisions. Every chapter felt like my oxygen levels personally dropped.
Also, let’s be clear: I will never be entering a cave again. Not for adventure. Not for vibes. Not even if there’s a Starbucks at the end of it.
Taylor Adams really said “what if breathing… was optional?” and then ran with it.
