私が宇賀渓（うがけい）に行く前に「いなべ市 観光スポット」「三重 綺麗な川」「三重県 清流」「川遊び」で調べて知りたかったのが、“どこが青く見える？危なくない？”っていうリアルな目線の情報でした。実際に行って感じたポイントを補足します。 まず、写真でよく見る「澄み切った青の川」は、上流側や深みのある場所で特に出やすい印象です。川底までハッキリ見える透明度なので浅く見えても急に深くなる所があり、青く見える場所ほど深い＝きれいだけど注意、でした。子ども連れなら、浅くて流れが穏やかなエリアをベースにして、深い所には近づきすぎないのが安心。ライフジャケットは本当にあるとラクで、浮き輪よりも“手が空く”のが助かりました。 服装は、水着の上にラッシュガード＋濡れてもいい短パンが快適。石が滑りやすいので、マリンシューズ（かかとが固定できるもの）推しです。タオルは1枚だと足りなかったので、体拭き用と車用の2枚あると便利。あと、着替えスペースがない前提で「さっと羽織れる大判タオル」や「車のシートを濡らさない防水シート」を持っていくと帰りがスムーズでした。 生き物さがしは、アメンボやおたまじゃくし、時期によってはオニヤンマも見かけました。網を振り回すと周りの人に当たりやすいので、川の端で短時間だけ・見つけたらすぐ観察して戻す、くらいがちょうど良かったです。 ルール面は改めて大事で、BBQ・焚き火など火気、テント（ワンタッチ含む）、ペットがNG。ゴミ袋持参で“来た時よりも美しく”を意識すると気持ちよく過ごせます。駐車場近くの観光案内所「竜のコバ」では、かき氷などのフードやドリンクがあって休憩しやすいのも良かったところ。レンタルがあるのも、荷物を増やしたくない人には助かります。 いなべ市観光のついでに自然でリフレッシュしたい人には、宇賀渓はかなり満足度が高いと思います。ただ“美しさと危険は隣り合わせ”なので、無理せず安全第一で楽しんでくださいね。
