「三重 みかん狩り」で探していると南のエリアが多い印象ですが、津で楽しめるのが本当に助かりました。私は週末に行ったのですが、予約ナシで気軽に行けるのがまず嬉しいポイント。思い立った日に「今日はみかん狩りにしよう！」と決めやすいです。 当日は受付をしたら、みかん畑へ。コンパクトにまとまっていて移動がラクでした。しかも、ほぼ斜面がないのでベビーカー期を卒業した小さな子でも歩きやすく、親の負担も少なめ。近くにトイレや手洗い場があるので、子どもが手をベタベタにしてもすぐ洗えて安心でした。 みかんは「1つ1つ違った甘さ」と書かれている通りで、同じ木でも当たり外れがある感じ。私がやってよかったのは、 ・日当たりの良い外側の実を選ぶ ・ヘタの周りまで色が濃いものを優先する ・小ぶりでもずっしり重いものを取る この3つ。食べ放題（120分）なので、最初は少しずつ試して“自分好みの木”を見つけると満足度が上がりました。 そして地味に燃えるのが「お土産つき食べ放題」＋袋への詰め放題。食べる分とは別で持ち帰れるので、家に帰ってからも余韻が続きます。袋詰めは、形のきれいなものを底に並べて土台を作ってから、隙間に小さめを入れると崩れにくかったです。 持ち物は、長袖長ズボン・靴・帽子が基本。雨上がりは地面がぬかるむことがあるので長靴が安心でした。レジャーシートや折りたたみ椅子があると、畑の端でちょっと休憩しながら食べられて快適。小さい子がいるなら、ウエットティッシュと着替えは必須です。薄皮むきが大変な子には「ムッキーちゃん」みたいな皮むきグッズがあると、食べるテンポが上がって助かりました。 料金は年齢で分かれていて、0歳から有料ですがお土産がもらえるのも嬉しいところ。支払いは現金のみだったので、行く前に用意しておくとスムーズです。三重県でアクセス良く、子連れでも挑戦しやすい「津みかん狩り」。秋のおでかけ候補にぜひ入れてみてください。
