The Word of God
Before God accomplishes great works, He prepares people. Before the promise comes the process. Before the harvest, there is a season of planting.
In Ecclesiastes, we learn that there is a time appointed for everything under heaven. There is a time to begin and a time to wait; a time to learn and a time to put that knowledge into practice; a time to face challenges and a time to celebrate victories.
We often want to rush God’s plans, but His preparation is never in vain. Every experience, every hardship, and every season of waiting shapes our character, strengthens our faith, and equips us for what He has already prepared.
If you are in a season of preparation today, do not lose heart. God is still at work, even when you cannot yet see the outcome. The process is part of the purpose.#Jesus #missydebbiealbuquerque #Lemon8
Reflecting on my own spiritual journey, I've found that embracing the phases of preparation has transformed my faith experience. Often, I used to feel anxious wanting immediate results or breakthroughs. However, understanding that God’s timing is perfect helped me develop patience and resilience. During trying times when progress seemed slow or invisible, I kept reminding myself of the scriptural wisdom from Ecclesiastes—that there is a season for everything. This mindset allowed me to see challenges not as setbacks but as essential growth steps. I also began journaling my daily experiences and prayers, which made me more aware of subtle ways God was working behind the scenes. For anyone currently in a season of waiting or preparation, I encourage you to stay hopeful and active in faith practices. Use this time to deepen your knowledge, strengthen your prayers, and connect with community support. Each hardship or delay can be an opportunity to build endurance and trust in God’s plans. Ultimately, the process is as important as the promise because it prepares your spirit and equips you with the wisdom needed to fully receive and utilize the blessings ahead. Remember, no effort in faith is wasted, and God’s preparation shapes us for the greater good that lies ahead.
