God is bigger than my mistakes!

There are days when my mistakes feel like mountains, huge and impossible to overcome. I used to carry such a heavy burden, thinking I wasn't good enough or that I'd somehow used up all my chances. But then, I truly understood: God's grace isn't just a concept; it's a living, breathing power that literally locates you right where you are, no matter how messy things seem. So, what exactly is this amazing grace that's bigger than everything? For me, it's God's undeserved favor and unwavering love that cleanses us, forgives us, and empowers us, even when we stumble. It’s not about what we do, but entirely about what He has already done. It’s the ultimate reassurance that we are loved and accepted, flaws and all. Oftentimes I can't handle my problems on my own, but His power is always greater. When I feel those doubts creeping in, I often remind myself of incredible stories from the Bible, just like the ones I've reflected on. Remember the woman who had suffered for years, yet when she reached out and just touched the hem of Jesus's clothes (as in Mark 5:25-34), she was instantly healed? That wasn't earned; that was grace locating her in her desperation. Or the time Jesus feed 5000 people with just a few fish and loaves (Matthew 14:13-21 & 15:32-39). That sheer abundance, that impossible provision, is another testament to a God whose power knows no bounds. Even Peter, once a wavering disciple, received the power to heal a begging man (Acts 3:6-8), and Paul, despite his past, was given incredible healing power too (Acts 19). And who could forget David, a young shepherd, facing down a gianf with just a stone? These aren't just ancient tales; they're living proof that the power of the Holy Spirit, the same power working within us, is truly unstoppable. Nothing is bigger than my God, and nothing is too big for His grace to cover, transform, and overcome. Learning to lean into this truth has been a journey. It means acknowledging my mistakes but not letting them define me. It's about remembering that when grace locates you, it's not conditional; it's freely given. I find immense comfort in verses like Ephesians 2:8-9, which says, 'For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.' Or Hebrews 4:16, 'Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.' These words anchor me when I feel overwhelmed, reminding me that the power in them is the same power the Holy Spirit gives me!
