Status: Turning a corner! 🙌🏼✨
Good news: Brynna’s fever officially broke, and she’s heading back to school tomorrow! I’m finally headache-free, though this 2 AM cough is testing Justin and I’s patience (and our sleep schedule!). 😂
Still no official word from our coordinator, but I’m officially starting back on the pill today to get my body ready for the next plan. It feels good to finally take a proactive step forward while we wait!
Amidst the pivot, life threw a little curveball today. I got a text from the vet about Dakota’s shots. She passed in November and would have been 13 last week. She was my best friend... some days the grief just catches you out of nowhere. 💔 Hug your fur babies extra tight.
Keeping my hands busy today with a Mail Run! Packing up these Glow Packs for my February birthday winners. I only have TWO time slots left for Feb before we book into March—if it’s your birthday month and you haven't heard from me, DM me! 🧖 ♀️
Plus, the countdown is ON: 2 days until Justin turns the BIG 3-0! He’s earned every bit of his 10-day break and birthday trip. So thankful for my wonderful husband!
Off to check my "Enter to Win" jars now! Good luck to everyone who entered! 🍀✨

Navigating health challenges as a family can be both draining and motivating. When Brynna’s fever finally broke, it was such a relief—not only because she could return to school but because it signaled a turning point for our entire household. Dealing with persistent symptoms like the late-night cough tested our patience, highlighting how health ups and downs often ripple through family life. Starting back on the pill was not just a medical step but a symbolic one, marking a proactive approach to taking control over my body’s journey. It’s empowering to feel like you’re moving forward, even when official plans remain uncertain. This blend of hope and patience is something many can relate to when faced with health uncertainties. Losing a pet like Dakota, who had been a faithful companion for nearly 13 years, is a profound reminder of life’s fragility and the depth of our bonds with animals. Such grief often arrives unexpectedly, underscoring the importance of cherishing every moment with our fur babies and offering extra hugs when we can. Staying busy with meaningful tasks, like packing Mary Kay Glow Packs for birthday winners, helps keep my spirits lifted. These small celebrations connect me with a community that values self-care and joy, making the waiting times more bearable. Plus, organizing these giveaways feels rewarding—combining gratitude with the excitement of making others’ days special. On a personal note, celebrating milestones—like my husband's 30th birthday—brings a refreshing balance to the challenges. It’s a beautiful reminder that amidst uncertainties, there are joys and achievements to honor. His well-earned break and birthday trip remind us to appreciate life’s good moments, reinforcing the strength we draw from family support. For others on similar journeys, whether facing health obstacles, dealing with loss, or juggling day-to-day stresses, embracing small victories and community connections can make a huge difference. These experiences teach resilience and highlight that healing and progress often come in waves—not all at once. Keep pushing forward, celebrate the good days, and remember you’re not alone in this journey.
