Beautiful, Free Beach: There is no cost to step onto the island. You have access to complimentary beach chairs, loungers, and a free barbecue lunch.
Relaxing Atmosphere: With white sand and crystal-clear water, it provides a highly relaxing island vibe.
Fun Water Activities: The area is great for snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, and banana boat rides. There are also designated family areas and kids' play zones.
👀 Cons:
The Stingray Beach Encounter at Princess Cays. This is only a con for me because when I visited in 2013 they did not cage up the string ray to make it an over priced excursion, they use to just swim around at the beaches.
Princess Cruises officially introduced the Stingray Beach Encounter excursion at Princess Cays on February 17, 2018.

Rocky Ocean Floor: The shoreline and ocean floor are quite rocky, which can be painful on bare feet. Water shoes are highly recommended.
Skip excursions and make the best of your beach day, the right side is way less crowded!
Visiting Princess Cays offers a fantastic opportunity to unwind in a beautiful natural setting without spending extra on beach access or rentals. During my trip, I found that arriving early allowed me to grab a prime spot with easy access to the calm, clear waters perfect for snorkeling. The complimentary beach chairs and loungers made relaxing incredibly convenient, and I thoroughly enjoyed the free barbecue lunch which added a nice touch to the day. For water enthusiasts, the variety of activities like kayaking and banana boat rides provided endless fun for families and groups. It’s worth noting that the rocky ocean floor can be tricky; I recommend bringing water shoes to protect your feet while exploring both the shore and the water. This small preparation greatly enhanced my comfort. One memorable aspect of my visit was the atmosphere: the white sandy beaches coupled with the turquoise waters created a serene getaway vibe that’s hard to match. To avoid overcrowding, I found the right side of the beach less busy, giving a more peaceful experience. This made it a perfect escape for those seeking relaxation away from large crowds. Although the Stingray Beach Encounter excursion has become an added activity since 2018, I appreciated the earlier experience when stingrays freely swam without caging or fees. If you prefer a more natural interaction with marine life, it’s worth checking the current excursion details ahead of time. Overall, Princess Cays is a hidden gem for anyone looking to relish a tropical beach day with excellent amenities, fun water sports, and a tranquil environment in the Bahamas.
