Hi yall! All these movies are from Tubi right now- which is a free streaming platform that I love! The closest movie to being my type was the Beach House movie, so don't take my ratings to heart- they were mostly bad acting but great movie premises. Anyways, here's my opinions that you probably didn't ask for
🍿The Beach House 2019: 8//10
Creepy and a movie that'll make you say "wtf.." about an air born microbe apocalypse that has infected a couples beach house.
🍿Found 2012: 6//10
terrible acting, but i expected that out of the early 2010s. a movie about a kid who finds solace from bullying in horror movies, until his life becomes one when he discovers a severed head in his brother's closet. fair amount of gore & follows a spiral into darkness that you can't come back from.
🍿Triangle 2019: 5.5//10
acting was terrible (again, i expected that) but the premise of the movie was really good and intriguing. a lot of confusion and layers to this movie. i'll admit that i wasn't excited about watching this at first, but it's one i'm going to have to rewatch sometime so I can grasp it all a bit better. Try to go in with an open mind!
🍿Rabid 2019: 5//10
Wasn't a bad movie, just a little all over the place. Followed the plot line of a woman who was in an accident that left her disfigured, and she undergoes an experimental treatment to restore her to her real self, but that comes with surprising and deadly consequences. There was a lot happening throughout the movie, and it wasn't very direct. Sort of seems like a 'prequel' movie but there's no second movie to answer your questions.

It reminded me of why I enjoy horror that plays with unseen forces and environmental threats. Found took me back with its classic early 2010s look and gritty style. While the acting wasn’t the strongest, the storyline about a kid dealing with bullying who uncovers a horrifying secret definitely kept me hooked. The gore scenes weren’t overdone, but the gradual spiral into darkness gave this movie a grim and unsettling tone I appreciated. Triangle had me confused at first, but after giving it a second watch, I appreciated the layered storytelling and the waves of fear it delivered. It’s one of those films that benefits from multiple viewings to piece together its twisted plot. Approaching it with an open mind is key because it really challenges your perception. Rabid was a bit all over the place but had an interesting central idea about a woman undergoing a risky experimental treatment with dark consequences. The film feels like a prequel without a follow-up, which leaves some threads hanging, but if you like body horror and experimental narratives, it’s worth checking out. Overall, if you enjoy horror movies that blend creepy atmospheres with thought-provoking premises rather than relying solely on great acting, these Tubi picks are worth your time. Since these movies change availability on streaming platforms, I recommend adding them to your watchlist soon. What’s next on my list?
