I caught the travel bug!
Anywhere you see a sticker, know that I am going away on vacay!
I am so excited (and a bit anxious) for all the travels coming up and can’t wait to share all the beautiful places I’m going to visit!
Any guesses to where I’m going? I’ll give you a hint for each:
1. On the border of a cute NY town, known for the pools and spas
2. On the water for a week and surrounded by turquoise waters and pink architecture
3. Almost Europe but not quite, still full of charm
You know that feeling when you're just counting down the days to a trip? It's almost like if I could travel through time, I'd fast-forward straight to my departure date! That's exactly why I've become obsessed with marking my travel dates on my calendar. It's not just about keeping organized; it's about building that excitement and having something tangible to look forward to. For me, a calendar isn't just a grid of days; it's a vibrant map to my next adventure. I love grabbing a bright pen and circling those special travel dates. Sometimes I'll add little emojis – a sun for a beach trip, a tiny plane for a flight day, or a heart for a romantic getaway. Just like in the picture I shared, seeing those marked days on a calendar with a pink heart or a butterfly emoji makes the anticipation so real. It’s a visual countdown that helps me mentally prepare and even plan out my packing list in my head. There's something incredibly satisfying about watching those days tick by, knowing each one brings me closer to new experiences. It's funny, but marking those dates isn't solely about the future. When I look back at an old calendar, those marked days bring a rush of memories from past trips. It’s like a mini time capsule! I remember the feeling of packing, the journey itself, and all the amazing moments I experienced. It truly feels like I can revisit those times, even if just for a moment in my mind. It’s a wonderful way to reflect on all the incredible places I’ve been and the adventures I’ve had, making every calendar a personal travel journal. Beyond the emotional aspect, having those travel dates clearly marked is super practical. It helps me manage my work schedule, arrange pet sitters, or coordinate with friends and family. I also use it to set little milestones – like 'book flights by this date' or 'research activities by this date.' This way, the overwhelming process of planning a trip gets broken down into manageable, less stressful steps. It ensures I don't miss out on early bird discounts or popular activities that might book up quickly. I've tried various methods for calendar-marking my travel dates. Sometimes it's a big, colorful wall calendar in my kitchen, other times it's a dedicated travel planner, or even just digital entries in my phone's calendar app. Each has its charm! The key is consistency and making it a fun part of your travel preparation. Adding little notes about what I'm most excited about for each trip really boosts my mood during mundane days. Whether you prefer a physical calendar where you can physically cross off days, or a digital one with reminders popping up, I highly recommend finding a system that works for you. There's something incredibly satisfying about seeing your upcoming adventures laid out before you. It transforms abstract dreams into concrete plans and keeps that 'travel bug' excitement buzzing until departure day. So, go ahead, grab your calendar, and start marking those unforgettable dates. Your future self (and your present excited self!) will definitely thank you for it!

I have no clue where you’re going but number two sounds like the best place. I can’t wait to see pics!
