Lemon8 Girl… why are we merging with TikTok?

I used to love, love, LOVE this app but now it’s merging with tiktok and I am so sad. I thought there was finally a place away from all the doomscrolling and constant ads, for genuine content posting. Now we HAVE to merge it with a tiktok account or else risk losing all data permanently which sucks! Who says I want to make my accounts for both always visible to others? Also, it just feels like this platform will also be overtaken by influencers than genuine posters or micro-influencers. 😕 What are your thoughts?
