I absolutely love this poem and this old horse! Spartan has been with me since middle school and I still remember hating him so much because of how much of a hot mess he was. I’m glad we pushed through and worked through the issues we had. I’m glad I never gave up on him. From the beginning to now taking care of my kiddos, this horse will forever mean so much to me. I’m behind blessed that God chose me to Spartan’s little girl and I’m even more blessed and thankful that God has let me keep Spartan around for my sons to enjoy! 💕
