Life as a marketing manager: exhibiting in Spain

My life as a Marketing Manager in the supplement industry has been nothing short of eye opening.

A big part of my job revolves around trade shows my company exhibits in. I do all the pre, during, and post show related marketing from things like creating newsletters, graphics, and print material, to thinking of fun give aways.

Currently, I am attending a show in Barcelona! During the show, my days look a little different than normal.

On show days I am:

-Support the booth: I spend a lot of time keeping the booth up and running smoothly. I make sure nothing gets messed up and all our customers are directed to the correct contact.

-Attend speaking events: This is one of my favorite parts of these shows. Today I went to a talk on using Women Athletes as influencer and am super excited to get this implemented in my marketing strategy.

-Meet with media: In my world of marketing, there are lots of media companies we work with. This is a great time to meet with them face to face and plan what stories and features I want to be involved in.

Days on the road at shows typically don’t go exactly as planned so being able to adapt and adjust are huge parts of my job. I love problem solving and have gotten really good at it 🤩

I am off to Manhattan next week for another show! Cant wait to see what it brings to my life as a Marketing Manager.
