You look happier: I work hybrid now!
When I started my full time job as a marketing manager for a health and wellness company, I was fully in office 5 days a week.
After being at the company for over a year now, I work in office 3 days a week and at home 2 days! This has made a world of difference.
I finally feel like I have time to get the small things done like laundry, that I didn’t have the time for before when I was driving to the office everyday.
I still am able to get all my tasks done such as trade show planning, social media content creation and analytic tracking from home but now I get to save some gas money while doing so 🥰
At first it was hard to stay focused when shifting to working from home but after I got use to it, I know how to better plan out my tasks for my office days and home days. This shift has 100% changed my outlook on my job for the better.

Since switching to a hybrid work model, I’ve genuinely felt a huge shift in my overall well-being. Before, the daily commute and rigid in-office schedule left me feeling drained and, honestly, a bit sad and overwhelmed by the end of the week. It felt like a constant struggle to keep up with both work demands and personal life. Now, with two dedicated work-from-home days, I've discovered a new sense of balance and happiness. It’s not just about saving on gas money or finally getting around to that mountain of laundry; it’s about reclaiming mental space. For instance, those mornings I work from my tranquil outdoor spot, laptop open on the artificial grass, sometimes with a view of lounge chairs, feel incredibly refreshing. It’s a far cry from being cooped up, and it helps me start my day with a clearer head. I even try to squeeze in a quick walk or focus on preparing a nutritious meal, which links back to a healthier lifestyle that was hard to maintain when I was constantly on the go. My biggest tip for anyone considering hybrid work or struggling with the transition is to really optimize your home setup. Creating a dedicated workspace, even if it’s just a corner of a room, can make a huge difference. I love having a calming background, like a desktop picture of palm trees, during my video calls – it adds a touch of serenity to my day. And for collaboration, tools for video calls have become indispensable, keeping me connected with my team even when I'm not physically there. From a productivity standpoint, I was worried about staying focused, but it's been surprisingly effective. For my role as a marketing manager, I handle tasks like trade show planning and social media content creation seamlessly. What’s more, analyzing data from home has become incredibly efficient. I can delve deep into LinkedIn Analytics, reviewing LinkedIn Content Data 2025, and tracking crucial metrics like impressions, unique views, clicks, and engagement rates without interruption. It allows for a level of focused work that sometimes gets diluted in a bustling office environment. This flexibility means I can structure my days to fit my energy levels, reserving office days for collaborative meetings and home days for deep, analytical work. This shift has truly transformed my job outlook for the better. If you're feeling the daily grind and wondering if there's a happier, more balanced way to work, exploring hybrid options might just be your answer. It's not just about where you work, but how it empowers you to live a fuller, less stressed life.

Yes I love being hybrid. Plus there are weeks we don’t even have to come in 🥰. Hopefully one day they will change it to 3 days home and two in office
