Thunder…Vengers*???
How quickly things change.
⚡️This weekend we saw the new Thunderbolts* movie. Based on the trailers, I thought we were going to watch the Marvel version of Suicide Squad. A bunch of misfit anti-heroes.
The Review
🎬 No spoilers. The movie was good. I enjoyed the new cast of characters and I thought they had good chemistry. The movie had dynamic action sequences and I liked the introduction of a new villain. There were laughs and some emotional moments. The mid credit and end credit scenes are not to be missed.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall rating: 8/10
The name change
🤔 Yesterday Marvel announced that they were changing the title to The New Avengers. So instead of Suicide Squad we are getting the New Avengers. This was definately planned and teased with the “*” in the title. Knowing that it is now the New Avengers, I had to change my score. Comparisons to the original are inevitable.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ adjusted rating: 7/10
