Christmas Dinner with the family

Every year my parents host a small family holiday gathering. You never know what is on the menu until you arrive.

This year it was:

Pumpkin congee

Roast duck

Steamed chicken with ginger sauce

Sautéed mushrooms

Beef with tomatoes

Chow mein

Broccoli

Chinese broccoli

Steamed salmon

And yes, I went back for 2nds and got a doggy bag to go.

Was it traditional, no, was it delicious, YES!!!!
