The War of 1812 was a military conflict between the United States and Britain.
That happened between 1812-1815, the main cause of the war came from U.S. trade restrictions.
From Britain's war with France came the recruitment of American commercial sailors into the Royal Navy, and support for Native American tribes fighting American settlers on Britain's borders.
