On Monday, we said goodbye to our sweet boy, Malakai. He passed away peacefully at 13 years of age. We rescued him locally because his original owners had to move to NC in an area with many bears, so they wanted him safe at a sanctuary. We had six wonderful years with him, but we wish we had more.
