This approach not only eased my pain but also improved my overall mobility and balance, critical factors in rehabilitation. During recovery, I also learned the importance of patience. Healing doesn't follow a strict timeline, and some days will be better than others. Embracing this variability helped me stay motivated and avoid frustration. Beyond physical treatment, managing chronic pain is also about lifestyle adjustments. Gentle exercises and strengthening routines, tailored to individual needs, prevent further injury and support long-term joint health. Additionally, monitoring and controlling inflammation is key since persistent inflammation can negatively impact blood pressure and other health factors. Connecting with support groups, whether online or in person, provided emotional encouragement and practical tips from others facing similar challenges. Hearing how others cope and adapt gave me new perspectives and strategies to try. If you’re considering or recovering from knee surgeries, remember that combining medical treatments like pain patches with supportive lifestyle changes can help you regain freedom and confidence in your daily activities. Recovery is a journey, but with the right tools and mindset, better days are ahead.

I aim to take 1–2 liters of water daily but also aim for closer to 3L on training days. Keep your protein high (whey isolate is perfect). Focus on whole foods: lean meats, eggs, rice, sweet potatoes, greens, avocado, olive oil. Keep carbs lower but not absent, your glutes still need fuel.
