I went to Canada 🇨🇦
While on our trip up to Maine, we decided to take a day and drive up to Canada. It was absolutely gorgeous. I took so many photos and had a lot of fun.
I’m somebody who knows very minimal conversational French that was hard.😅 Out of the group of people that were there, I knew the most French and I was able to communicate the basics when help was needed.
Overall great experience!! I hope to go back someday!!

A visit to Canada, especially from Maine, can be incredibly rewarding, offering a unique blend of stunning scenery and cultural experiences. From picturesque landscapes like Lac Mégantic to vibrant cities, there's much to explore. If you're planning a trip, consider the best times to visit for pleasant weather and fewer crowds. While in Quebec, basic conversational French can be helpful, but many locals are bilingual, making communication easy. Also, don't miss the chance to try local cuisines — poutine and tourtière are must-tries! Moreover, make sure to familiarize yourself with customs regulations to ensure a smooth border crossing. Engaging in sightseeing activities is a perfect way to make memories, whether you're enjoying outdoor adventures or visiting historic sites. I always wanted to live there or experience daily life there. I visited toranto before and really want to see more Providences
