[Preparation before trial operation]
□ Check the outlet and breaker
□ Is the battery of the remote control dead?
[STEP 1: 10-minute test run]
□ Set the cooling to the lowest temperature (16 to 18 ℃) and run for 10 minutes as it is
Why 10 minutes? Because it's the time required for anomaly detection!
[STEP 2: Check after 10 minutes]
Is there a cold wind?
Is the error light blinking?
Do you hear any strange sounds or smells?
[STEP 3: Another 30 minutes of driving]
□ Is there water leaking from the indoor unit?
□ Is water coming out of the drain hose of the outdoor unit?
→ If it comes out, drain OK!
[STEP 4: Blast operation]

うちも夏前に試運転をしたら、扇風機が回り始めに「キュルキュル…」と鳴いてびっくりしました。エアコンと同じで“本格稼働前のチェック”が大事で、放置すると異音が悪化したり、最悪動かなくなることもあるので、私がやった順番でまとめます。 ■扇風機がキュルキュルいう主な原因 1) ホコリや髪の毛の絡まり：ガードや羽、モーター周りに汚れが溜まると抵抗が増えて音が出やすいです。 2) 回転軸（ベアリング）の乾き：長期間しまいっぱなしだと潤滑が落ち、回り始めに擦れるような音が出ることがあります。 3) ネジの緩み・ガタつき：首振り部や羽根固定ナットが緩むと共振してキュルキュル／キシキシ系の音に。 4) 首振り機構の負荷：首振りONのときだけ鳴る場合、可動部の汚れや摩耗が疑わしいです。 ■自分でできた対処法（安全第一） 0) まずは電源OFF＆コンセントを抜く（ここ重要）。 1) ガードと羽根を外して丸洗い：中性洗剤で洗って完全乾燥。羽の裏のベタつきまで落とすと静かになりやすいです。 2) 掃除機＋綿棒でモーター周りのホコリ取り：吸気口や背面カバーのホコリを取るだけでも改善しました。 3) ネジの増し締め：羽根固定ナット、ガード固定、首振り部のネジを軽く確認（締めすぎ注意）。 4) 軽い異音なら“しばらく回して様子見”：保管後は最初だけ鳴って、10分ほどで落ち着くこともありました。 ■注油は慎重に（やるならここだけ） 「キュルキュル＝油を差せばOK」と思いがちですが、扇風機は密閉モーターも多く、むやみにオイルを入れるとホコリを呼んで逆効果になることも。もし取扱説明書に“注油口あり”と書かれている機種なら、指定の場所に家電用の潤滑油を“ごく少量”だけ。説明書に記載がない／分解が必要そうなら無理しないのが安心です。 ■危険サイン（この場合は使用中止が無難） ・焦げ臭い、熱を持つ、煙っぽい ・異音がどんどん大きくなる／金属が擦れる音 ・回転が遅い、止まりそう、コードやプラグが異常に熱い このあたりは自己対応せず、買い替えやメーカー相談が安全です。 ■ついでに：ガスコンロがパチパチ止まらないとき 同じ“試運転チェック”つながりで、コンロのパチパチ（点火音）が鳴り続ける原因もよくあるのが「バーナーキャップのズレ」「吹きこぼれ後の濡れ」「電極（点火プラグ）周りの汚れ」です。いったん火を止めて乾かし、部品を正しい位置に戻して、電極付近を軽く拭くと直ることが多いです。それでも止まらない場合は安全のため元栓を閉めて相談がおすすめ。 夏本番に“壊れてた！”を避けるために、エアコンだけじゃなく扇風機やコンロも週末にまとめてチェックしておくと安心でした。
