SWorkers’ Rights are Human Rights

Sex workers' rights are essential components of the wider human rights discourse. By advocating for sex workers, we affirm that their rights are not separate but integral to the rights of all marginalized groups, including migrants, people of color (POC), people with disabilities, and the LGBTQ+ community. The fight for sex workers' rights also highlights issues such as labor rights, safety, and health care access. As we navigate the complexities of societal norms and legal structures, it is imperative to include sex workers' perspectives in discussions about labor rights to ensure social justice. Understanding these intersections can foster solidarity among various movements for justice, creating a unified front against discrimination and inequality. Furthermore, the stigmatization of sex work often leads to the marginalization of those involved, making it crucial to dismantle harmful stereotypes and advocate for decriminalization and respect for all workers.
