What do you think of these prompts for a daily check in? I think that these give me better awareness of myself and what my needs are from day to day.

I feel like my mood tends to go on cycles like the moon, so that is why I did a moon theme, and highlight one of the moon phases every day.

I have been actually using this template for a few days now and I do really like it!

When the set is done, I can provide a high quality version for Goodnotes, they aren't entirely svg based, but it is a fairly large png so you only see a bit of tethering when you zoom all the way in.

Over the past few weeks, really committing to this practice has made a huge difference in my overall well-being and self-awareness. My moon-themed template, which you might have seen, isn't just pretty! It’s designed to help you tune into your natural rhythms. Just like the moon goes through its phases, our moods and energy levels often follow cycles. By tracking my 'WHAT TYPE OF PERSON AM I TODAY?' and which moon phase I’m feeling, I’ve started to notice patterns I never recognized before. For instance, I've learned that certain phases often bring a surge of creative energy, while others are better for quiet reflection. Beyond mood, the 'WHAT DOES MY BODY FEEL LIKE?' section is surprisingly powerful. We often ignore our physical sensations until they become urgent. Taking a moment to check in – whether it’s tension in my shoulders, a flutter in my stomach, or just feeling light and energetic – helps me respond to my body's needs proactively. Similarly, setting a 'WHAT WOULD MAKE TODAY GREAT?' intention, even a small one, really helps to focus my day and cultivate a positive outlook. Another invaluable part of this template is exploring 'POSITIVE ENERGY' and 'NEGATIVE ENERGY'. It’s not about dwelling on the bad, but acknowledging what drains me and what uplifts me. This helps me make conscious choices about my environment and activities. And 'MY AFFIRMATION'? That's my daily dose of self-love and motivation, anchoring me for the day ahead. For those of you looking for more ideas, here are some additional journal questions I sometimes use to deepen my check-ins, especially when I feel stuck or need to explore a specific area: What is one thing I am grateful for right now? What challenge am I facing, and what's one small step I can take towards it? What message does my intuition have for me today? How can I show myself more kindness today? What thought or emotion is most present for me right now? What is one thing I want to learn or achieve today? Using this digitally on Goodnotes has been incredibly convenient. I can carry my journal everywhere without the bulk, and the clear, large PNGs make it a joy to write in. I’m even planning on expanding this collection with more templates like an hourly planner, reflection & gratitude journals, and a dedicated mental health check-in, all designed to support a holistic approach to daily living. It’s all about building habits that enhance self-awareness and bring more intentionality to every single day. What are your favorite daily check-in prompts?
