Renaissance Rainbow Sketchbook Tour🌈

We are going through abother sketchbook in my old sketchbook tour series!

This is another SCAD freebie sketchbook (once again, I wish I could buy these in stores)

This sketchbook all started when I got one of those rainbow pencils in a museum gift shop when I was traveling 😂

I was so excited about that rainbow pencil, and I still am because it is very cool. I was inspired to fill this whole sketchbook using it.

The paper was too thin to handle copic marker, so I often had to paint on the opposite side of the page white guesso acrylic paint, and THEN do my drawing.

I wouldn't call any of these masterpieces, but I had a lot of fun with this project.

When engaging in such a project, consider the materials you use as they can significantly affect your results. The use of rainbow pencils creates an attractive aesthetic and can motivate an artist to think outside the box. In addition, using various mediums, like acrylic paint and markers, can enhance your work. It’s vital to experiment with your sketchbook by pushing boundaries and embracing mistakes. This approach not only helps to develop skills but also fosters personal artistic growth. For those interested in starting their own sketchbook tours, consider documenting your process. Sharing your journey can inspire others and create a sense of community. Remember, the joy of creating is often found in the journey itself, not just the final product.
