soft-launch your good habits BEFORE january! 🎀

Now is a good time to write down your goals, things you would like to improve in the next year and get a start on them!

A lot of people fail new years resolutions because they underestimate their busy schedules.

For example, someone says that for the new year the want to spend 6 days a week in the gym.

BUT if you start trying out the gym in November, you may realize that actually just 3 days a week is enough. November is a time to gently test those limits without feeling like you "failed" your new years resolution. I mean, you literally can't fail if it's not even January yet.

That is my logic anyways. Give these things a try before you actually base your 2025 on it.

Then in the new year you will be super confident because you prepared yourself! And waiting until January is super arbitrary anyways, don't let yourself procrastinate these things just so you can call it a "New years resolution"

🎀Step 1 - Just write down your goals!

One effective strategy to overcome this challenge is to start implementing changes before January arrives. November is an excellent month for a soft launch of good habits, allowing you to evaluate what works and what doesn’t. Begin with simple steps such as writing down your goals, which can significantly boost your motivation and clarity. Testing your commitment now can provide valuable insights. For example, rather than committing to an ambitious gym schedule right away, try out different routines and note how your body responds. This way, you can fine-tune your fitness plan to something realistic and sustainable. Adjusting your goals before the deadline of a new year drastically reduces pressure and fear of failure. Additionally, engaging in journaling as a reflective practice during this period can uncover deeper motivations and barriers. You might find that your ideal resolutions align closely with your true desires and lifestyle preferences. The concept of 'soft launching' is rooted in gentle exploration rather than the all-or-nothing approach often associated with New Year’s resolutions. Utilizing platforms for support and community can also enhance accountability and provide inspiration throughout this journey. Challenge yourself by using hashtags like #goodhabits and #healthylifestyle2024 to connect with like-minded individuals who are on the same path. In conclusion, start your year strong by establishing good habits early and enjoy the journey of self-improvement without the rigidity of New Year's pressure.

I never thought about this. It would definitely help avoid the disappointment if you realize later it’s not going to work.

Yesss now that it’s officially November, it’s time to start planning for the new year in my personal life. I started planning for 2025 at work a couple weeks ago.
