Are you missing out on these timeless books? ⭐

My Goodreads has had an amazing start to 2025, with three 5-star reads!!

These books are all quite popular, so if you haven't read them yet, this is your sign 💕 Especially if you haven't been enjoying your books lately, these are just some solid all-time favorites.

The last two especially, because they are shorter books. I have read 3 Steinbeck books now and I absolutely love all of them.

🗨️ Have you read any of these books? What are you reading currently?

... Read moreThere's nothing quite like the feeling of finishing a book that truly moves you, one that earns that coveted 5-star rating and leaves a lasting impression. My recent reading journey has been filled with such gems, and it got me thinking about those truly 'timeless books' – the ones that land on everyone's 'must-read' or 'bucket list books' recommendations. We all have those reads that we feel everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime, don't we? What makes a book a timeless classic? For me, it's a combination of compelling storytelling, unforgettable characters, and themes that resonate regardless of when or where you're reading them. These aren't just stories; they're experiences that shape your perspective and stay with you long after you've turned the final page. And honestly, finding these kinds of books is what makes reading so incredibly rewarding. Take 'Memoirs of a Geisha,' for instance. The rich historical detail and the protagonist's journey were absolutely captivating. I felt completely immersed in a different world, learning so much while being swept away by the narrative. Or 'Of Mice and Men' – Steinbeck's writing is just masterclass, isn't it? Even though it's a shorter read, the emotional depth and powerful themes hit hard and stay with you. And 'The Outsiders'? A classic coming-of-age story that explores loyalty, class, and identity with such raw honesty. These are the kinds of stories that sparked my love for reading, and I find myself returning to them, or books like them, when I need a guaranteed great read. Beyond my personal 5-star picks, I've also been eyeing other popular titles that consistently appear on 'best books to read' lists and are often featured as 'MY BOOK RECS'. Books like 'Normal People' for its poignant exploration of relationships, or 'Crying in H Mart' for its incredibly moving and personal narrative. And how about 'Malibu Rising' for a compelling family saga? These also fall into that category of highly recommended reads that many consider essential. It really shows how diverse the world of 'must-read' books can be! If you're like me and always on the hunt for your next great read, or perhaps you're in a reading slump and need something guaranteed to pull you back in, I highly recommend diving into some of these popular and timeless favorites. Don't be afraid to revisit classics or explore contemporary titles that have garnered widespread acclaim. Sometimes, all it takes is one truly exceptional book to reignite that reading spark. What's one book you consider a 'must-read' for everyone? I'd love to hear your thoughts and add to my ever-growing list of amazing books!

I haven't read Memoirs of a Geisha yet, but it's sitting on my tbr shelf, so this might be my sign to dust it off next!

I really like the first two book “ Memoirs of a geisha “ and “Of mice and men”. I need to read the outsiders.
