Healing from anxious attachment and CPTSD often involves reconnecting with your inner child and addressing core emotional wounds. In my own journey, I found that becoming aware of my ADHD traits helped me better understand how my anxious attachment patterns developed. This awareness was pivotal in breaking cycles of self-sabotage and emotional overwhelm. One of the most inspiring moments in healing came unexpectedly, as if certain realizations just appeared spontaneously. These 'inspiring things that just like came' deeply shifted my perspective and motivated me to nurture self-compassion and patience. Focusing on inner child healing techniques — such as mindful self-reflection, journaling, and guided visualizations — created a safe space to process old trauma stored in my body and mind. Spirituality played a supportive role throughout this process by encouraging trust in the healing journey despite its nonlinear nature. I found that embracing vulnerability and seeking connections with like-minded individuals helped me release shame and foster authentic self-love. If you are navigating anxious attachment, complex PTSD, or ADHD, know that healing is possible through gentle inner work and a willingness to welcome growth, even when it unexpectedly arrives.
