... Read moreYou know how much I adore my indulgent strawberry cream moonshine concoction – that perfect blend of Dr. Pepper Strawberries & Cream soda, rich Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine White Chocolate Strawberry Cream, and a fluffy cloud of Whip Shots Vodka Infused Whipped Cream Strawberry for a delightful treat. It’s my ultimate comfort drink when I want something sweet and satisfying.
But life isn't always about indulgence, right? Sometimes, I crave something on the lighter, more refreshing side, especially with how versatile and delicious berry flavors can be! I've been exploring a whole array of other berry drinks lately, and it's amazing how much variety there is beyond just cocktails. It’s all about finding what fits your mood and what your body needs at that moment.
Lately, I’ve been really into the idea of enhancing my daily hydration, and that's where mint and lemon water comes in. I've heard so much about the benefits of mint and lemon water, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for me! I started adding a few slices of fresh lemon and a sprig or two of mint from my garden to my water bottle every morning. Not only does it make plain water so much more enjoyable, but I genuinely feel more energized throughout the day. It’s not just about staying hydrated; I’ve noticed it really helps with digestion and just gives a fresh, clean feeling. Sometimes, to add another layer of flavor and some extra goodness, I'll toss in a handful of fresh berries – raspberries, blueberries, or even sliced strawberries. It turns a simple drink into something that feels like a spa treatment right at home, packed with the benefits of lemon mint water!
Speaking of berries, they are truly incredible! Beyond my favorite creamy concoction, I love experimenting with them in different ways. For a quick and healthy boost, I often whip up a berry smoothie. It’s super easy: just blend some mixed berries (frozen ones work perfectly and make it extra thick), a banana, a splash of almond milk, and maybe a spoonful of Greek yogurt for protein. It’s such a delicious way to get a lot of antioxidants and vitamins, and it keeps me full for hours. For something a little more elegant but still refreshing, I’ve tried making sparkling berry lemonades. You just muddle some fresh berries at the bottom of a glass, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, a tiny bit of agave or honey, and top it all off with sparkling water. It's a fantastic non-alcoholic option for when friends come over or just for a warm afternoon.
And for those times when I need to wind down or feel a bit under the weather, I’ve discovered the incredible comfort of hot mint and lemon tea, sometimes known as chá de hortelã com limão quente. It’s such a soothing drink! I simply steep fresh mint leaves with a slice of lemon in hot water. Sometimes I add a touch of honey for a bit of sweetness. It’s become my go-to before bed, helping me relax and promoting a good night's sleep. It’s amazing how a simple combination of mint and lemon can transform plain water into something so beneficial and delicious, whether hot or cold, plain or with a touch of berry goodness. It just shows you how many incredible ways there are to enjoy healthy, flavorful drinks!
100%!! i worked at a liquor store and the combinations are endless with those moonshine flavors. do yourself a favor and mix the banana pudding moonshine with some espresso or coffee liqueur!!! or if you don’t like coffee, add some vanilla vodka and banana liqueur, with whip cream and crushed up wafers on top!!!
Is the moonshine good? I’ve seen the banana one and wanted to try it so bad! Put a strawberry on the rim and it’ll be perfect.
