Prayer is a powerful tool that shapes our spiritual journey and priorities. From my personal experience, setting aside time each day to pray specifically about fulfilling the Great Commission has deepened my connection to God and strengthened my commitment to sharing the Gospel. One insight that has encouraged me comes from Philippians 4:6-7: "To pray is to let go and let God take over." Asking God to soften hearts and open eyes to the Gospel message helps me approach conversations with sensitivity and love. It inspires me to be patient and persistent, knowing that God’s timing is perfect. Additionally, praying for our country’s freedoms resonates strongly today. Many take for granted the liberty to speak openly about their faith, but continuous prayer for these freedoms ensures we can freely proclaim the truth without compromise. Incorporating prayer into daily routines—whether in the morning, during breaks, or before bed—creates a habit of seeking God’s will first. This discipline allows the Holy Spirit to guide our actions and words as we carry out the Great Commission in a world that desperately needs hope and truth.
