GOD IS GOOD! HE SURROUNDS ME WITH HIS LOVE AND GRACE!
The Bible teaches us that Jesus is God INCARNATE and He was also HUMAN. He experienced the same FEELINGS and TEMPTATIONS that we ENCOUNTER each day. However, He never SUCCUMBED to even one TEMPTATION. In (JOHN 4:4-8), we read how the Savior became TIRED and STOPPED to rest beside the well of Jacob. While His disciples were buying food in a nearby town, a Samaritan woman arrived at the well to draw water. Jesus, being thirsty, asked her for a drink of the well’s water. Immediately, she PROTESTED and REMINDED Him that she was a SAMARITAN, and He was a JEW.

JEWS believed the SAMARITANS were UNCLEAN. Another fact to consider is that this woman was at the well alone at high noon. More than likely, she also was considered unclean by her own people and came to the well at a time when no one else would see her. We know her story. She had been married many times and was in need of a Savior, and Jesus met her need. He told her: "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." (JOHN 4:13-14) Jesus Christ confronted the deepest need of this woman, and offered her a chance to begin life anew. The more you drink from the world’s water, the worse your thirst will become. Drink from the well of water Jesus provides. You will thirst no more.
Reflecting on the story of Jesus meeting the Samaritan woman at the well has deeply impacted my understanding of God's love and grace. Like her, many of us carry burdens and past experiences that make us feel unworthy or isolated. Yet, Jesus chose to engage with her personally, breaking societal barriers and offering her living water—symbolizing eternal satisfaction and renewal. From personal experience, turning to worldly solutions often leaves me feeling empty and thirsty for more. It was only when I started seeking Jesus’ living water through prayer, scripture, and community that I found true satisfaction. This journey reminded me that Jesus understands human struggles intimately since He too experienced temptation and human feelings without ever succumbing. This gives me strength and hope that I am not alone in my challenges. Moreover, the verse from Psalm 18:2, "My God is my Deliverer," resonates strongly. It affirms that God not only loves but actively rescues and surrounds us with protection and grace, even when we feel most vulnerable. Embracing this truth has transformed how I face daily temptations and obstacles, knowing that God's grace is sufficient. I encourage anyone reading to reflect on their own thirst—whether for peace, purpose, or acceptance—and invite Jesus, the source of living water, into that space. Drinking from His well means stepping into a new life of fulfillment that the world cannot provide. This personal connection has brought me unparalleled comfort and joy, reinforcing that God's goodness is always present, surrounding us with His love and grace.
