i’ve been watching and following the national book foundation for years, but this time i was actually able to step into the space! and yeah, obviously i shed a few tears.
i was invited to a watch party nearby at the most gorgeous mmcnally jackson where i got to meet so many book buddies, and then we headed over to enjoy the official after party! so many of my favorite authors and other literary inspirations CRUSHING IT on the dance floor!!
it was an incredibly moving night and i hope i get the chance to experience the national book awards again.
