I often find high-resolution images of anime scenery or character art online, print them out (sometimes even tiled across multiple pages for a bigger impact), and then frame them. Dollar stores often have inexpensive frames that you can spray paint to match your room's aesthetic. For a durable finish, cover your decorated notebook with clear contact paper or, again, clear packing tape.
