Y2k tech Appreciation Post

I may or may not be hyper fixating on old tech XD lol. But honestly these are so cool pieces from back in the day. (First photo is mine, I don’t own the rest!)

I feel like it’s actually great to have these items for many reasons such as… (besides the tv)

🔴 no subscriptions

🔴 no Wi-Fi troubles

🔴 you don’t have to worry about storage on your phone with music

🔴 you also don’t have to worry about photo storage!

🔴 a lot of these are portable

🔴 you can get a lot of CDs, DVDs and VHS cheap at second hand stores.

If your worried about storage with CD cases and DVDs they make storage cases for them. Almost like a photo album but for cds and dvds!

If your curious about other types of tech (because they seem cool) I’d suggest

✨ VideoNow (originally in black and white but also in color)

✨ film cameras

✨ Flip phones (you could buy a Japanese one if you still want a touch screen feature)

✨minidisk players

The reason why I added the TV was because some things truly are best enjoyed on those types of TVs that you can’t experience with a flat screen. They also have small portable based CRT TVs ❤️

I’ll probably make a post of hand held based consoles because I LOVE them 😍
