Re-learning LOL
Re learning the ropes again in league of legends with my husband. He usually plays mid or top and I always usually play support or bot. This has been fun to do during our down time when our kids and new baby are asleep. #leagueoflegends #gameing #husbandandwife #girlgamers #fyp
It's been such a journey getting back into League of Legends with my husband! We used to play a lot before kids, and honestly, coming back as parents has been a whole new adventure. For anyone else out there re-learning LOL, especially if you're juggling family life, let me tell you, it's totally doable and incredibly rewarding. One of the biggest changes we noticed right away was the meta. It felt like everything had shifted! Champions we knew had new abilities, and there were so many new faces. I remember feeling a bit overwhelmed at first, trying to figure out which support champions were strong now. But slowly, we started to get the hang of it. I've been enjoying playing old favorites like Miss Fortune in bot lane, trying to land those perfect ultis, and even experimenting with newer supports like Seraphine, whose kit feels so refreshing and impactful. The learning curve is steep, but that's part of the fun! Finding time to play is probably the trickiest part. Our strategy? Once the kids and our new baby are sound asleep, that's our cue! It turns our late evenings into our personal gaming sessions. It's not just about the game; it's about connecting and de-stressing together. There's something really special about coordinating with your partner in-game, shouting 'Enemy turret destroyed!' or celebrating a 'VICTORY' together after a hard-fought match. Even those moments when we get 'SILENCED' by an enemy mage just make us laugh. For other couples or parents thinking about diving back into League – or any game – my advice is to start slow. Don't expect to be pro overnight. Embrace the 're-learning' aspect. We found it helpful to stick to roles we were comfortable with initially, and then branch out. Communication is key, both in-game and out. Talk about your strategies, your wins, and even your funny fails. This shared hobby has honestly strengthened our bond. It’s our little escape, a common ground where we can be competitive, supportive, and just have fun without the daily pressures. It’s more than just playing 'legends of the learning' – it’s about creating new memories and enjoying each other’s company in a unique way. So, if you're on the fence, give it a shot! You might just find your new favorite couple's activity.
