I thought making more money was the goal.
Now I realize the real goal is what that money allows you to do.
This week I’m in North Carolina with my mom and family, making memories and enjoying time together. ❤️
Time is the real luxury.

For a long time, I was caught up in the relentless pursuit of money, believing it was the ultimate goal. Like many, I was entrenched in the daily grind—chasing deadlines, responsibilities, and the next paycheck without really stopping to reflect on what I was working for. It’s easy to forget in that hustle that the true value of money lies in the freedom it grants us. Recently, I found myself spending quality time with my mom and family in North Carolina. Those moments of laughter, shared stories, and simple togetherness made me realize something profound: time is the real luxury. Unlike material things that can be bought, time with loved ones is precious and irreplaceable. This shift in mindset changed how I view success. It's no longer about earning more but about what I can do with what I earn. Can I take a spontaneous trip? Can I be present for important family milestones? Can I prioritize my well-being? These questions now guide my decisions. The older I get, the more I realize that freedom means having control over my time. It’s about escaping the trap of constant busyness and making space for what truly matters. Money, while important, is a tool to unlock this freedom—not the end goal. If you’re feeling stuck, constantly chasing the next financial milestone, consider this your reminder: step back and evaluate what you’re really working for. Are you earning to live, or living to earn? Cherish your moments, make memories, and embrace the true luxury of time.
