Hyuna art!

Hey everyone! I've been absolutely captivated by Alien Stage lately, and I just had to share my passion through some fanart. Specifically, Hyuna has really stood out to me as a character with such a unique and powerful presence, so she was my muse for this piece. When I decided to draw Hyuna, I wanted to truly bring out her essence. I focused on getting her distinctive features just right – her long brown hair and those piercing blue eyes that always seem to convey so much. Her signature outfit, the white top and blue shorts, was also a key element I wanted to nail, as it's so recognizable. I particularly enjoyed detailing the handgun she holds, which adds to her fierce persona, and posing her in a seated position against a red background to give the illustration a striking and dynamic feel. It was a challenge to capture all these details while keeping her true to her Alien Stage design, but I think it turned out great! For anyone else out there who's a fan of Alien Stage and thinking about trying their hand at some fanart, I highly recommend it! Characters like Hyuna offer so much to explore artistically. My biggest tip would be to really study the character's design and personality. Think about what makes them unique and how you can translate that into your own style. Don't be afraid to experiment with different poses or even slight costume variations, but always remember the core elements that make the character recognizable. For Hyuna, it's definitely her hair, eyes, and that cool, confident vibe. I used digital tools for this illustration, but whether you prefer traditional or digital, the most important thing is to have fun and let your creativity flow. Sketching out ideas first always helps me, especially when trying to get the handgun and the overall composition just right. And don't worry if it's not perfect on the first try; art is all about practice and iteration.
