๐ŸŒŠ U.S. War on Drugs Misses the Real Route ๐Ÿšค

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ The U.S. has been blowing up boats off Venezuela, claiming itโ€™s fighting โ€œnarco-terrorism.โ€ But the numbers tell a different story โ€” Venezuela isnโ€™t where the drugs come from, not even close.

โธป

๐Ÿงฉ Slide 1 โ€“ The Myth

The military says Venezuelan boats are flooding America with cocaine. In reality, the country produces almost none. Itโ€™s just an occasional detour when other routes get blocked.

โธป

๐ŸŒŽ Slide 2 โ€“ The Real Source

Nearly all the worldโ€™s cocaine comes from Colombia, Peru, and Bolivia.

๐Ÿ“Š DEA data shows:

โ€ข 74% moves through the Pacific Ocean

โ€ข 16% through the West Caribbean

โ€ข 8% through the East Caribbean (where Venezuela sits)

So most of it never even touches Venezuelan waters.

โธป

๐Ÿšค Slide 3 โ€“ Sea Routes

Boats leave Colombia and Ecuador, stop through Central America or Caribbean islands, then hit Mexico, where major cartels take control.

Those small Venezuelan routes the U.S. targets handle a fraction of global traffic.

โธป

โœˆ๏ธ Slide 4 โ€“ Air Routes

A smaller share flies out from eastern Colombia and Venezuela, landing in Honduras or Guatemala.

UN data says this only accounts for under 10% of total shipments.

โธป

๐Ÿš› Slide 5 โ€“ Land Routes

Once itโ€™s in Mexico or Central America, itโ€™s transported north by truck and train.

Most cocaine enters the U.S. through Mexican border routes, run mainly by Sinaloa and CJNG cartels.

By that stage, Venezuelaโ€™s out of the picture.

โธป

๐Ÿ’ก Bottom Line:

You can blow up boats all day, but it wonโ€™t stop the flow. The real pipeline runs through the Pacific, not the Caribbean โ€” powered by demand, corruption, and politics, not by fishermen off Venezuelaโ€™s coast.

Not to mention all the chemicals to make the fentynol go directly to Mexico from China no need for Venezuela at all. This has nothing to do with drugs and everything to do with the relationship between Trump and the former leader of Venezuela souring and them electing someone else
