Trying aerial yoga for the first time was definitely tougher than I expected. Aerial yoga, which involves performing traditional yoga poses while suspended in a hammock or silk apparatus, requires significant upper body strength, flexibility, and mental focus. One thing I noticed quickly was how different aerial yoga feels compared to regular mat yoga. After a few sessions, I found my core and arm muscles noticeably stronger, and my flexibility improved too. Although aerial yoga is not for the weak-hearted, it’s incredibly rewarding and fun once you get the hang of it. I highly suggest giving it a try if you’re visiting Arizona or anywhere with a reputable wellness center. It’s a workout that challenges your body and mind but leaves you feeling revitalized and accomplished.
