I wish there was a way for me to feel their pain instead 🥺 she was crying for 2 hours before I could figure it out what was going on. But every time I was trying to put her down she would cry even more, so I realized that she had an year infection. I had to run to the only store open at 1 am and get her Tylenol. Luckily 10 minutes after giving it to her she calmed down, and an hour later she was asleep 🥺 but seeing her like this made me soooo sad. Today she is feeling a lot better.
Just sharing it here because I know I am not the only one. #baby #motherhood #momlife #rawandreal
As a mom, witnessing your baby in pain is truly heart-wrenching. In my own experience, identifying an ear infection can be challenging—especially when your little one cannot verbalize their discomfort. Often, the crying doesn't ease when you try to soothe them, which can be a sign of an infection or other illness. One crucial lesson I learned is to trust your instincts. If your baby is inconsolable and refuses to settle, it may be time to seek medical advice or, in emergency cases, visit a pharmacy for baby-safe medication such as infant Tylenol. Timing matters: giving appropriate pain relief can calm your baby fairly quickly and prevent prolonged distress. During that difficult night, I found it helpful to keep soft lighting on and speak in gentle tones, creating a comforting environment. It's also important to monitor their temperature and hydration levels while managing the pain. If symptoms persist or worsen, always consult your pediatrician as soon as possible. Emotionally, the helplessness a mother feels is overwhelming. It’s natural to wish you could transfer their pain onto yourself to ease their suffering. Sharing these raw moments with other parents or communities can be a great source of support and reassurance. You're definitely not alone in this journey. Finally, patience and love go a long way. After administering care and medication, it may take some time before your baby falls asleep peacefully. Remember to take care of yourself too during these challenging moments. The relief when your child finally rests peacefully is indescribable, making the tough nights easier to bear.
