This was an unforgettable experience!!!! I am still vibrating and excited about the whole thing!
But of course as any mom, I felt sooooo much mom guilt because my kids weren’t here with me! It was definitely a bittersweet experience and if I do it again, I want to take my kids with me for sure. Especially my three year old that is obsessed with soccer and Brazil hahaha
I am truly rooting for my country, and I hope we win this World Cup, but even if we don’t.. that we fight for it every MINUTE of it!
Big thank you to my husband who literally scheduled everything for me! I love you!!!
Attending a World Cup match is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that resonates deeply not just with soccer fans but with families as well. One aspect that really stood out for me was the emotional tug-of-war between the excitement of the event and the longing to share it with loved ones, especially young children. Like Stefany, many parents struggle with the idea of missing out on precious moments with their kids, even when pursuing personal dreams or passions. I remember when I first attended a major soccer tournament, the energy of the crowd was electrifying and unforgettable. However, I also felt the bittersweet reality of not having my kids there to see their country compete live. Brazil’s love for soccer is unmatched, and the country's vibrant culture shines through during the World Cup. The way families come together, even if physically apart, to support their team highlights the unifying power of sports. For parents who worry about missing these events, involving kids in the excitement through stories, videos, or playing soccer together at home can help extend the experience beyond the stadium. It’s also inspiring to witness the fierce dedication Brazil shows every minute they play — whether it’s a group stage match against a team like Japan or the knockout rounds. This passion is a valuable lesson not just about the sport, but about perseverance and pride in one’s heritage. If you ever get a chance to travel for a World Cup, consider bringing your family along. It creates priceless memories and shared enthusiasm that your children will carry with them for years. Lastly, huge kudos to supportive partners who manage logistics and help make such experiences possible. Their behind-the-scenes efforts often go unnoticed but are critical to turning dreams into reality. Overall, the World Cup is not just about the game; it’s about the personal stories, sacrifices, and love surrounding it.
