🍔 Paper Dolls: Dinner with Alexander 🍔

Oh my goodness, last night was such a blast! We celebrated my grandpa-in-law's birthday at this fantastic spot called The Grill, and it really was an evening to remember. But the best part? I brought my special dinner guest, Alexander! For those who don't know, Alexander is my adorable paper cutout, an anime-style character with the cutest curly brown hair and striking yellow eyes. He was dressed to impress in his crisp white shirt, suspenders, and shorts – truly a stylish little companion for a big night out. He even had a little dessert-like item I'd crafted for him, so he could 'participate' in the feast! The atmosphere at The Grill was perfect for a celebration. The lighting was warm, the buzz of conversation was lively but not overwhelming, and we were seated at a lovely dinner table right by a window. Once we settled in, it was time to check out the menu. Since everyone's been asking about my favorite dishes at places like this, I have to highlight what truly made the meal stand out: their incredible steak and pasta selections. I mean, seriously, can you ever go wrong with a perfectly cooked steak paired with a rich, flavorful pasta dish? It's a classic combination for a reason! I opted for their signature ribeye, ordered medium-rare, and it was absolute perfection. The steak arrived with a beautiful sear, incredibly tender, seasoned just right, and practically melted in my mouth with every bite. It was accompanied by a generous portion of creamy garlic mashed potatoes and some perfectly grilled asparagus, adding a lovely freshness to the plate. My family members tried various options from the menu, but the steak was definitely a star of our table. And then there was the pasta! One of my cousins was craving something hearty and chose their chef's special pasta dish. It featured a generous serving of al dente fettuccine, perfectly tossed in a savory tomato cream sauce that was both rich and tangy. It had plenty of succulent grilled chicken slices and fresh basil, making it a truly satisfying meal. It looked absolutely divine, and they couldn't stop raving about every single mouthful. Even though Alexander, being a flat, fantastic paper doll, couldn't actually eat, he was right there with us, perched carefully at the dinner table, seemingly taking it all in. It was so amusing to see him 'observing' the delicious food spread before us. It’s amazing how a simple paper cutout can add so much character and fun to an evening. We took so many funny pictures with him 'enjoying' the food and the festive ambiance.
