Normalizing Having random stuff On my work desk

I haven’t really used my work desk in over a month since my job gave me a laptop to use instead, which is portable and I have an attached screen that I can take off my laptop. I am pregnant so I prefer to work out my bed with my pregnancy pillow or on the couch so I can be comfortable. I tend to put random stuff on my desk since I haven’t used it in a long time. trust me, it can get messier than this.

When working from home, especially during pregnancy, comfort becomes paramount. Many individuals find themselves gravitating towards comfortable spots like the bed or couch, utilizing pregnancy pillows and supportive seating. With the rise of portable technology such as laptops, desks may often become dumping grounds for miscellaneous items. This phenomenon underscores the importance of acknowledging and normalizing clutter as part of the remote working experience. Users can enhance productivity by establishing a balance between cleanliness and creative chaos, allowing for inspiration to thrive. To address a messy desk, consider implementing small organizational tools that make tidying up quick and straightforward. Use decorative boxes or trays to categorize items, or designate specific areas for frequently used supplies. This can create a designated space for personal touches, while also preventing overwhelming clutter. Recognizing this relatable struggle helps foster understanding and community among remote workers, reaffirming that it's completely okay to embrace a less-than-perfect workspace.
