Read The Bible with Me 🍋🌸
But the needy will not be ignored forever; the hopes of the poor will not always be crushed. Psalm 9:18
Who are the needy? They are the ones who feel overlooked, the ones who are made to feel small. They are the ones who have received news that shattered their hearts, the ones who don't know how they will make it until tomorrow. I am needy!
Who is "The Hope"? Our hope is in Him; He will never perish. We can confidently trust that He sees us. He is dependable and will do what He promises. The best news is that everything is temporary—seasons change, but His love remains the same forever.
God is dependable!! I needed to say it again.
Like David, we can bring our burdens to His feet, trusting that He will lift us up in due time. He's always on time! Despite having enemies, David was confident that the Lord would fight his battles for him.
“Remember the word you gave me; through it you gave me hope. This is my comfort in my misery: Your promise gave me new life.”
(Psalms 119:49-50 GW)
Here are some of my favorite promises:
His salvation—He died on the cross for you and me, paying the ultimate price for us. I can't imagine going through that pain for people like us! But I am so thankful that He loves us so much.
His promise to supply our needs (provision)—I've seen God show up time and time again.
His peace—the type of peace that surpasses all understanding.
A new life and transformation—the old me is dead and gone. I am thankful that He doesn't hold my past over my head. My life has been forever transformed, and I cannot imagine it being anything like my old ways.
Comfort during hard times, and answered prayers.
Do you have something you would like prayer for?🙏🫶🏻🤍

In times of distress and uncertainty, many turn to the Bible for comfort and guidance. The scriptures, particularly in Psalms, emphasize the importance of relying on God and His promises. For instance, Psalms 9:18 reassures us that those who are needy and overlooked will never be forgotten. This message is profoundly relevant today, as many individuals face various forms of adversity. Understanding who the needy are is crucial. They may include those battling personal challenges, facing health crises, or enduring emotional struggles. Recognizing that you are not alone in feeling lost or hopeless can provide solace. In addition, the concept of 'The Hope' refers to a steadfast belief that despite life's trials, there is a divine plan in motion that offers reassurance and security. This hope in God encourages us to cast our burdens onto Him, echoing the sentiments of David in his prayers. The transformative power of faith cannot be overstated. Many believers recount personal testimonies of how their faith brought them through hard times. This includes finding peace that surpasses understanding, gaining new perspectives, and witnessing miraculous provisions during trying times. These narratives underline the Bible's role as a source of strength and renewal, reminding us that every season of life, whether joyous or troubled, serves a purpose. As you delve deeper into scripture, consider engaging with communities that uplift and support one another through prayer and shared experiences. Pray for yourself or others, fostering an atmosphere of love and connection, echoing the core biblical principle of compassion towards one another.
