... Read moreIf you're a fan of iced coffee beverages, this Iced Cookies & Cream Latte with Marshmallow Cold Foam is a delightful treat that you can easily recreate at home. What I love most about this recipe is the layering of textures and flavors—from the rich double shot of espresso to the gentle sweetness of the marshmallow fluff foam topping. Using a high-quality chocolate sauce, like a double fudge syrup, really elevates the chocolate notes without overpowering the espresso.
One tip I've found helpful is to let the chocolate cookies soak just enough in the milk to soften slightly. This not only adds a pleasant crumbly texture at the bottom but also infuses the milk with that classic cookies and cream flavor. The use of a protein shake as milk substitute, like the OWYN cookies and creamless protein shake, adds a nutritious twist while keeping it creamy—great for those looking for an extra protein boost.
When creating the cold foam, whipping the heavy cream with marshmallow fluff and vanilla syrup until airy but still pourable really makes the drink stand out visually and taste-wise. The marshmallow cold foam brings a silky sweetness that beautifully caps the iced latte, making each sip a creamy indulgence.
For those experimenting with variations, you might try swapping out some vanilla syrup with caramel for a twist or adding a pinch of sea salt to the top to contrast with the sweetness. Also, finishing the drink with a drizzle of extra chocolate sauce and crushed cookies on top adds an inviting look and crunch.
This recipe is perfect for hot days or when you're craving a dessert-like coffee drink. Making it at home beats waiting in line at coffee shops and lets you customize sweetness and ingredients exactly to your preference. Enjoy crafting and sipping this comforting, delicious iced latte!
