If you're a coffee lover who enjoys unique and indulgent flavors, this Salted Caramel Banana Split Iced Protein Latte is a fantastic treat to try making at home. One of the great things about this recipe is its versatility—you can easily adjust the ingredients to suit your taste, whether you prefer it sweeter, stronger, or creamier. Starting with the latte base, the blend of a double shot of espresso with caramel protein shake or your preferred milk option provides both energy and nutrition. Adding chocolate cookie swirl or chocolate sauce alongside banana and salted caramel syrups creates a delightful fusion of flavors reminiscent of a banana split dessert, yet refreshing and light as an iced latte. The caramel cold foam made from heavy cream and caramel sauce is a luxurious topping that elevates the drink, adding texture and a rich finish. Don’t skip the caramel sauce lining inside your cup and the McCormick Salted Caramel finishing sugar sprinkle—these little touches enhance both presentation and taste. From personal experience, using a good-quality banana syrup is key to getting the right fruity sweetness without overpowering the other flavors. Also, frothing the cold foam to your desired consistency can make the drink feel extra special. I like mine fluffy but dense enough so it slowly blends with the latte rather than mixing immediately. For an added twist, you might experiment by swapping the caramel protein shake with a plant-based protein if you prefer dairy-free or vegan options. Likewise, homemade versions of the chocolate cookie swirl syrup (as suggested) can personalize the flavor to your liking. Overall, making this salted caramel banana split iced protein latte at home is not only enjoyable but also allows you to control the quality and nutritional content. It’s a perfect guilt-free coffee indulgence that boosts your protein intake while satisfying your sweet tooth. If you love iced coffee drinks and creative flavor combos, give this recipe a try—it can become your new coffeehouse favorite!
