Delay is not denial

I remember a season in my life where I felt like I was constantly waiting for something. Whether it was for a career opportunity, a personal breakthrough, or an answer to a heartfelt prayer, it seemed like everything was on hold. It’s so easy to interpret silence or waiting as rejection, isn't it? I’d often find myself thinking, "Why isn't this happening? Did I do something wrong? Is God just not listening to me?" That's when the powerful truth that "every delay is not a denial" truly started to sink in for me. I realized that my human understanding of time and progress is so limited compared to the divine. What we perceive as a setback or a closed door, God might see as a necessary pause, a preparation phase, or even protection from something we can’t yet comprehend. I've learned that "even the delay has a purpose," a profound one that often unfolds in ways we could never anticipate. In those moments when doubt crept in, I found solace in the idea that "God's delay is not his denial." It's a refining fire, a time for growth. It’s during these waiting periods that our faith is truly tested and strengthened. I started to understand that the battle isn't against me; it's often in the unseen, beyond my immediate perception. Just like the OCR text says, "Keep praying. Keep trusting." These words became a mantra for me, a gentle reminder to lean into faith rather than succumb to frustration. I’ve come to believe that God often uses delays to prepare us for what He has in store. Sometimes, we're not quite ready for the blessing, or the circumstances around us aren't aligned yet. He might be building our character, teaching us patience, or refining our desires so that when His answer finally arrives, we are fully equipped to receive it and steward it well. It’s about His perfect timing, not ours. What God has released into the universe for us is still on its way, just maybe not on our preferred schedule. So, if you're currently in a period of waiting, feeling like your prayers are unheard or your dreams are indefinitely postponed, I want to share this encouragement with you: don't give up. Don’t mistake the delay for a denial. Continue to "Keep praying" with a hopeful heart and "Keep trusting" in His unwavering plan. Remember, His love for you is boundless, and His purposes are always good. What’s meant for you is not lost; it’s simply being perfectly orchestrated in the unseen, and it will arrive in its perfect time.
